Smooth Calendar is a widget, you add it to your phone desktop by long pressing in a empty space, then select widgets from the popup menu and then select Smooth Calendar

How do I configure the widget when the menu is turned off?
Tap the Smooth Calendar icon in the application drawer to reach the settings.
